The design for the Saarinen Series 72 Side Chair traces its history all the way back to 1946. A design competition in which Charles Eames and Eero Saarinen jointly submitted designs in the beginning of their careers resulted in a first place prize and those designs heavily influenced Saarinen’s style and creativity for years to come. A seamless tubular base is home to an upholstered vinyl seat in white that makes seating solutions easy.
