Harry Bertoia Diamond Chair Chrome (Black)

chrome silver black
An alum of the storied Cranbook Academy of Art, Harry Bertoia (1915-1978) is perhaps responsible for one of the most iconic shapes of modern furniture, the Diamond Chair. The Harry Bertoia Diamond Chair (chrome) first appeared in 1952 and is a quintessential MCM design. The welded steel rods in buffed chrome create a sculpture-like ethereal quality to the chair. Surprisingly comfortable, the black cushion is secured with snaps to the frame of the chair. Manufactured specifically for Knoll this Harry Bertoia Diamond Chair (chrome) continues to influence the design world.
