Sometimes referred to as the “bikini chair”, the Eames Wire Side Chair was born from the collective creativity of Charles and Ray Eames in 1951. Inter-woven lighter-gauge wire creates a strong basin for seating attached to a chrome-plated steel Eiffel base. This wire design is responsible for the Eames being awarded their first American patent. The white and chrome Eames Wire Side Chair can be used as a side chair or an uncommonly attractive office chair.
