It started with one chair.

FormDecor’s journey began with the passion of our founder and president, Fritz Williams. An avid collector of Mid-Century Modern furniture, Fritz’s relentless pursuit of the most eye-catching collectibles started with one spectacular chair and led to the sourcing and refurbishing of many others.

Fritz opened a boutique retail operation, serving clients from the U.S. to countries as distant as Japan and Germany. The humble 400-square-foot office on Sunset Blvd. evolved into a furniture rental business when a notable client required high-end modern furniture to fill a 10,000-square-foot exhibition space.

filling a unique furniture niche previously unavailable in the rental marketplace, thanks to Fritz’s extensive knowledge of Mid-Century furnishings.
