Saarinen Tulip Armchair

Fortune favors the bold and nothing is a better descriptor of the Saarinen Tulip Armchair. Designed by Eero Saarinen (1910-1961) in 1956 as a challenge to unclutter the American home (too many legs he was quoted as saying), the Saarinen Tulip Armchair is a part of the vaunted Pedestal Table Tulip Chair Collection. Molded white fiberglass on a cast aluminum swiveling base, the cushion can be customized by a variety of colors we stock in-house: white, gray, burnt orange mohair, and a bright kelly green.
